Marloe's Laundry Day

Marloe's laundry day started way before she was born. After my baby shower, I went to the store and bought a giant bottle of baby Dreft to wash all her clothes with. I got them all ready & folded for her first wear! I remember washing all those little onesies, jammies, and socks....and breathing in that perfect Dreft smell as I folded them. I was so ready for my sweet girl to come, and that amazing Dreft scent was making me even more anxious.

Marloe had super sensitive skin as a newborn. I had to be super careful with what I put on her body, what I was eating (because I nursed her), and what I washed her clothes in. Dreft was the only detergent that didn't irritate her skin. Thats Why I teamed up with Dreft Purtouch (their new 65% plant-based baby detergent) today, and am sharing an insight to what Laundry day with Marloe looks like over here.

Now that Marloe is 18 months, her laundry day is still one of my favorite times. As she naps, I wash her clothes with Dreft Purtouch detergent, then I fold them while watching some tv. Its seriously one of my favorite most relaxing times, folding laundry and watching some of my guilty pleasure shows! (Bachelorette, Kardashians, etc.....HAHA)

Marloe is a messy girl. She would rather eat meals outside on the dirty patio, then inside on her clean highchair. She also is just all around a messy eater. I almost always try to undress her before meals, otherwise her clothes get pretty stained. That means laundry day for her comes more and more often, and requires a detergent that can do it all. Which is why I love Dreft, it's gentle on her little clothes, yet effective at removing stains. Its also hypoallergenic and made with naturally-derived ingredients to be gentle on her baby skin.

Dreft Purtouch is created by Dreft (#1 Pediatrician recommended brand) to provide another option to parents who are seeking products with natural-based ingredients. As you know if you follow my blog, I love plant based products. I was so excited that Dreft came out with this detergent, and stuck with their original famous Dreft smell.

Not only do I was all of Marloe's dirty clothes with Dreft, but I also pre-wash her new clothing as well. Did you know that dirt, excess dyes, and processing chemicals can linger on baby's new clothes?! Pre-washing is super important to help protect your babies sensitive skin. Dreft even did a survey, and 9 out of 10 dermatologists say its super important to wash your babies clothing before first wear.

Here are a couple KEY CLAIMS about Dreft Purtouch Detergent:
