Mini Ham & Cheese Tortilla Roll-Ups

Everyone is gearing up for back to school or even started school already! Marloe doesn’t start preschool quite yet, but I am already prepping mentally for that day!

Tortilla Roll-ups (or pinwheels) are among the foods that both Marloe and Sorel love. I often make them when we’re heading to the beach, or on-the-go since they are easy to make and pack up for the car! I love quick meals that don’t take too much effort, but are a wholesome delicious option that the entire family loves!!! These Roll-ups hit the spot & leave my girls asking for more! MOM WIN!!! During back to school season, cooking is the last thing on your mind. So the solution is making simple recipes packed full of flavor with none of the fuss, like these easy Mini Ham & Cheese Tortilla Roll-ups!

These are so yummy, and use very few ingredients--best part is that you might already have most of these ingredients at home already! My girls love helping me make them, and love to spread the cream cheese on the tortillas! These Roll-ups are awesome to have on hand, and are a great meal or snack for adults and kiddos! Their mini size is perfect for a quick bite & fits easily in a child’s hand!




  • Use Sargento® Cheese slices! They are the perfect real, natural cheese that is great for your family, and a taste everyone will love. We used Sargento® Colby-Jack slices, but you can mix it up and use any flavor!

  • Use 8 inch round flour tortilla shells!! I buy whole wheat ones & they work perfectly.

  • Use at least 6-8 slices of ham per tortilla. Also, feel free to switch it up and use turkey or other meat!!

  • VERY IMPORTANT! For best results, roll tortillas tightly.

  • Wrap in plastic and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight before cutting to get nice cuts!!!



  • 10-15 slices of Sargento® Cheese (I used Colby-Jack!!)

  • 5 8-inch wheat or flour tortillas

  • 20-25 slices sliced ham or turkey (freshly cut from the deli!)

  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened (1 package)

  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard

  • ½ tablespoon honey mustard

  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder

  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder

  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Spread a layer of softened cream cheese in the center of one of the flour tortillas. Leave a 1-inch border without cream cheese.

  2. Top with 2-3 slices of Sargento® Cheese and 3-4 slices of ham.

  3. Tightly roll up tortilla and wrap in plastic.

  4. Put in the refrigerator for a few hours or overnight.

  5. When ready to serve, cut off ends and cut into small or large slices!
