Growing up I remember loving RITZ Crackers, they are buttery soft, melt in your mouth crackers...and they were my favorite to snack on! I kind of forgot about them, until I got married to Colten. He loves snack food, and we seem to always have these crackers in our house. I have been getting creative with these crackers, and came up with some delicious Sweet & Savory recipes using them. These recipes are perfect whether you're craving a simple but delicious snack, or you're hosting a party with friends!


These RITZ Cracker Chocolate Coconut crackers are my favorite easy snack. Actually....I can’t choose a favorite. But they are for sure ones I make the most. The chocolate that you dip the RITZ Crackers in is a perfect balance of milk chocolate with the salt from the crackers. I prefer Guittard's milk chocolate chips, because they are sooo dang good, and really add to the decadence of this super simple recipe.

I hosted a party the other day with some friends, and made my RITZ Chocolate Coconut crackers, along with RITZ Cracker Pepper Jelly Appetizer! I love making both the sweet and savory recipes using RITZ Crackers! It makes for an easy grocery haul, and I can quickly make both recipes!! I headed to my local Albertsons to pick up a family pack of RITZ Crackers, and used them for both recipes! Learn more about RITZ Crackers HERE.

RITZ Cracker Chocolate Coconut Crackers

RITZ Cracker Chocolate Coconut Crackers are the perfect combo of salty and sweet, with a crunch of coconut. These freezer crackers are great for making for a party, or to have on hand in your freezer for a quick treat!

 Prep Time 15 minutes

 Cook Time 25 minutes

 Total Time 40 minutes

  • 30 RITZ Crackers
  • 12 ounces milk or dark melting chocolate
  • Shredded Sweetened Coconut flakes


  1. Prep a cookie sheet with parchment paper

  2. Melt the milk/dark chocolate together in a double boiler or on the stove top.

  3. Dip crackers halfway in melted mixture and put on a cookie sheet. Quickly sprinkle coconut flakes on the chocolate. Once the sheet is full, place it in the freezer until the crackers are frozen.

  4. Store in a zip lock bag in the freezer.

Recipe Notes

I've gotten the best results with Guittard's melting chips for these crackers.

RITZ Cracker cream cheese + pepper jelly appetizers are perfect for a quick snack, or a large party. The combo of easy staple ingredients comes together for an amazing appetizer that everyone will enjoy.

 Prep Time 5 minutes

 Total Time 10 minutes

 Servings 30 crackers

  • 30 RITZ Crackers
  • 16 oz. plain Cream Cheese
  • 1 bottle Pepper Jelly


  1. Prep a platter or plate (depending on size of party)

  2. Take a knife and spread a small amount of cream cheese over the RITZ Crackers.

  3. Place a tsp. of pepper jelly in center of cracker, on top of cream cheese. 

  4. Salt & Pepper. Place on Platter or plate!

Recipe Notes

You can change up the flavors of cream cheese or pepper jelly. You can also put a bowl in center of platter with additional pepper jelly!
