Breakfast Trend; Acai Bowl

Breakfast is by far my favorite meal to eat and cook! Although, I enjoy donuts and french pastries every now and then, those quick breakfasts are good on taste buds but terrible to our bodies. So, I love experimenting with HEALTHY breakfast recipes! For a long time I was cooking healthy pancake and waffle recipes, but those are for mornings where I have more time to cook! So instead I have been turning to ACAI BOWLS recently for a quicker healthier (but YUMMY) breakfast meal! Acai bowls are a huge breakie trend right now, if you havent seen so via instagram! HERE IS MY OWN RECIPE FOR A CHIA SEED BREAKFAST BOWL

(A bit different than Acai Bowls but still super delicious for greek yogurt lovers)

INGREDIENTS: 1/2 CUP HONEY GREEK YOGURT 1/4 CUP CHIA SEEDS (BLEND CHIA SEEDS AND YOGURT TOGETHER IN A BOWL) 4 Tbsp COCONUT FLAKES HANDFUL OF BLUEBERRIES APRICOT CUT INTO SLICES HANDFUL OF OATS HANDFUL OF BLENDED ALMOND PIECES (You can really use any toppings and can be as creative as you want to be!)    

INGREDIENTS:

1/2 CUP HONEY GREEK YOGURT

1/4 CUP CHIA SEEDS

(BLEND CHIA SEEDS AND YOGURT TOGETHER IN A BOWL)

4 Tbsp COCONUT FLAKES

HANDFUL OF BLUEBERRIES

APRICOT CUT INTO SLICES

HANDFUL OF OATS

HANDFUL OF BLENDED ALMOND PIECES
