5 Key things to do for Healthy Glowing Skin

Ever notice how most celebrities have near flawless glowing skin? Of course they have all the money in the world to spend on products, facials, and the best dermatologists out there....but I have found that they all do 5 key things to help them obtain that clear glowing skin that has nothing to do with $$!

 

Expensive skincare products can do wonders for your skin complexion, and to help with the anti-aging process. BUT you don't need expensive products to have beautiful skin! I'm sharing 5 things you can do to get the skin you've always dreamed of! (Que. Angels Singing lol)

 

5 THINGS YOU CAN DO TO HAVE CLEAR GLOWING SKIN

 

 

1-DRINK WATER:

Celebrities, like Jennifer Aniston say that the key to healthy skin is drinking plenty of water! You guys it's no joke that water benefits a lot of areas in your body, yet people still aren't drinking near enough water each day! Health authorities recommend drinking eight 8-ounce cups of water a day! Skin is the largest organ we have, and it's made up of millions of cells. Cells are made up primarily of water, so without lots of water in your body your skin cells with not function properly! Drink water, and your skin with thank you with clear completion and elasticity!

 

2-WASH YOUR MAKEUP OFF BEFORE BED:

Victoria Secret model Candice Swanepol was asked once in an interview about how she keeps her skin looking amazing. Her response, "She washes her face every night before bed, and NEVER sleeps with makeup on". There are so many bad things that happen to your skin when you go to bed with makeup on, read them HERE. Give your skin a break at night, and clean away dirt and makeup before bed! I promise your skin will love being able to breath!

 

3-APPLY MOISTURIZER AFTER CLEANSING:

When you wash your face, you're stripping the natural oils off of your skin. You need to put back the moisture in your skin by applying a 'good' moisturizer. See how I put parenthesis around good? It's because not all moisturizers are great for your skin, you need a good quality one that works for your specific skin type! I love this one!

 

4-GET PLENTY OF SLEEP:

Yep, sleep even effects your skin! It's recommended that we get 8 hours of sleep a night! Did you know while we sleep our body boosts blood flow to our skin, so we wake up with a bright glowing completion! Skimping on sleep causes your skin to look dull, and lifeless! So go to sleep, and your skin will be full of life! And so will you for that matter HAHA!

5-WEAR SUNSCREEN:

We all want that sunkissed skin, but you need to be wearing at least SPF 30 when you're out in the sun...I promise you'll get some color still!!! Protecting our skin from the sun is so important, and the majority of celebs never even leave their houses without SPF on! If you really want a tan, get a spray tan or use tanning lotion. My favorite is this one!

 

 

It's so important to use products and makeup on your skin that are high quality! Cheap makeup can sometimes clog your pores, and make your skin dull and unhappy! I have tested and tried my fair share of skincare and makeup products. Shared them below!!!
