PHOTOGRAPHY BY GABE SEGURA
When Spring time rolled around growing up, that always meant....yard work! My parents would wake us up and have us pull weeds, plant flowers, and clean the garage! I remember sometimes hating it, and constantly complaining! But even with all my complaining, I never got out of helping out!
My mom was and is queen of planting flowers. On Spring Saturday mornings she would have me go with her to different nursery's and greenhouses to pick out flowers. We always left with hundreds of pretty flowers, and headed back home to plant them! She would try and make it fun for me and my younger brother by letting us have an area of the garden that we could plant the flowers however and wherever we liked! It was fun, and a smart way for her to get us to care for and water the flowers! We would be outside all day planting, and the memories we made outside are ones I won't forget. I want to make it a tradition with Marloe as well! It will be something that I pass down from my mom to her! She may not love it forever, but I am sure she will look back and appreciate all the memories we made!
I love jewelry that is sentimental and carries a meaning! My bracelet I'm wearing here is from Pink & Blue Co. They make engraved bracelets with the details of your child's birth. My bracelet is rose gold (just like my wedding ring) and is engraved with Marloe's date of birth, weight, height, and time of birth! And inside is her first and middle name! I LOVE it! I will be getting one for myself after every kid I have! It's such a great gift idea as well! Perfect for Mothers Day! I shared the details in the link below!!!
All my outfit details are shared in the link, along with Marloes! ♥️
